Mourn for the died compatriots in Wenchuan earthquake
Just in a sunny spring weather, happened suddenly in Sichuan Province a great earthquake.
Thousands of buildings and houses collapsed, roads stopped, people died.
Sad wind blowing the miserable buried in debris,
Chilly rain falling on the calamity-hit area, even the divinity choked with sobs.
Sadly we weep for our compatriots died only in minutes.
Rescue the survivals day and night, we never give up.
For the wounded and the handicapped, we sent round the hat and donate blood.
Did our deep virtues be insulted from of old?
And can our lofty ideal be now destroyed?
Building a more beautiful home, we march on for tomorrow, and we shock the heaven with our deeds.

After visiting Jiuzhaigou with my poets and photographs for the peak of Ming Mountain covered with crystal ice and snows,

I shocked by the news of a great earthquake happened in the place where I just visited when I returned to Beijing.
Thousands of people died!
Blood, the dead, and sorrows, all over the quaked area!
I query you, you unjust heaven, why did you give such a punishment to the innocent people so cruelly?
Thousands of our compatriots were buried in the collapsed buildings and mountains.
